SUMMARY:DEA 2019: Dynamics, Equations and Applications
DESCRIPTION:The DEA 2019 conference “Dynamics, Equations and Applications” is organized by the Faculty of Applied Mathematics at the AGH University of Science and Technology to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the university. DEA 2019 will take place from 16th to 20th September 2019, and approximately 500 mathematicians are expected to participate in the event.\nThe conference will be organized in 16 parallel sessions from four research fields: dynamical systems, partial differential equations, other (ordinary differential, difference and functional) types of equations, and applied mathematics. In addition to keynote and contributed talks of parallel sessions (about half of them will be given during 64 mini-symposia), there will be 10 invited talks in each field given by the world’s leading experts as well as six plenary lectures delivered by five Fields Medal winners and an outstanding Polish mathematician. Moreover, a public lecture aimed at all academics, whether DEA 2019 participants or not, is planned.\nDEA 2019 will be held in Kraków, which is often regarded as one of the most exciting cities in Europe. Its historic center has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978, and in 2000 it held the title of the European Capital of Culture.\n
