In this talk, we focus on sparse optimal control of large multiagent systems. An example is given by the shepherd who is able to steer the flock of sheep to a designated destination by only controlling his dogs. As the number of agents increases, the problem encounters the curse of dimensionality, where managing a large system of coupled ordinary differential equations  becomes computationally infeasible. To address this issue, we consider the mean-field limit for the non-controllable agents and present a novel Pontryagin minimum principle in this setting.\nWHEN\nThu.
