Our project delves deep into the sociology and psychology of gender roles to help us explain and challenge gendered career choices, the unequal representation of women and men in scientific careers, and the favored position of men in leadership and decision-making. She earned her Phd from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-lyon1.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Universit\u00e9 Claude Bernard in Lyon<\/strong><\/a>. She is a professor of Geometry and Topology at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ehu.eus\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of the Basque Country<\/a><\/strong> and a specialist in Geometric Theory of Foliations and non-commutative Geometry. She is also the editor of the <a href=\"https:\/\/mujeresconciencia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>MUJERES CON CIENCIA<\/strong><\/a> digital space of the Chair of Scientific Culture for which she has received several awards, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emakunde.euskadi.eus\/noticia\/2016\/la-doctora-en-matematicas-y-responsable-del-blog-mujeres-con-ciencia-marta-macho-premio-emakunde-2016\/u72-contema\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>2016 Emakunde Equality Award<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enrique Zuazua Iriondo<\/strong> holds a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cmc.deusto.eus\/enzuazua\/enrique-zuazua-gana-una-catedra-humboldt\/\">Chair in Applied Analysis \u2013 Alexander von Humboldt Professorship at FAU- Friedrich\u2013Alexander University, Erlangen\u2013N\u00fcrnberg<\/a><\/strong> (Germany). He is the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cmc.deusto.eus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Director of CCM \u2013 Chair of Computational Mathematics at Deusto Foundation<\/a><\/strong>, University of Deusto in Bilbao in the Basque Country in Spain, where he leads the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/cmc.deusto.eus\/erc-dycon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>DyCon: Dynamic Control<\/strong><\/a>\u201d funded by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/erc.europa.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ERC \u2013 European Research Council<\/a>.<\/strong> He has been a Professor of Applied Mathematics of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uam.es\/Ciencias\/Departamento-de-Matem%C3%A1ticas\/1242669601957.htm?language=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of Mathematics at UAM<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 Autonomous University since 2001.<\/p>\n<p>His fields of expertise include Applied Mathematics cover topics related with Partial Differential Equations, Systems Control.
