Abstract. Felix Christian Klein lived in a period of the history of science in which Mathematics were involved in a process of transformation, leaving behind the classical and individualist vision of Newton, Leibniz, and Gauss. One of his most important contributions, the Erlangen Program, led to a new vision of Geometry. Klein left, also, an important legacy that
set the basis for innovation and improvement of teaching Mathematics.
