CIEGOS ANTE EL AZAR
A nuestras mentes se les hace muy difícil comprender el azar; esto bien puede ser fruto del proceso evolutivo, que nos ha hecho reforzar nuestra capacidad tanto de identificar las causas de lo que nos acontece como de desarrollar teorías que nos permitan efectuar predicciones. Mostraré mediante ejemplos sencillos las dificultades que todos tenemos en entender la aleatoriedad que nos rodea.

BLIND IN FRONT OF RANDOMNESS
Our minds have difficulty in grasping randomness; this is perhaps a consequence of evolution, that has endowed us with a strong ability to indentify the causes of what happens to us and to develop theories on which to base predictions. I shall show by means of examples the difficulties we all experience when facing randomness around us.
ZORIAREN AURREAN ITSU
Gure buruei zoria ulertzea oso zaila suertatzen zaie. Hau eboluzio-prozesuagatik gertatu daiteke, zeinek gertatzen zaigunaren arrazoiak aurkitzeko eta iragarpen teoriak garatzeko gaitasuna sendotu duen. Adibide erraz batzun bitartez, ingururatzen gaituen aleatoriotasuna ulertzeko zer nolako zailtasunak ditugun azalduko dizuet.
