Germany. 09.05.2019. The principal investigator of the Chair of Computational Mathematics, Enrique Zuazua, received on May 9th the Alexander von Humboldt chair, the most important research award in Germany that is granted to highly prestigious researchers worldwide. The host institution of the chair obtained by Enrique Zuazua, the Bavarian University Friedrich Alexander Universitäit (FAU) of Erlangen-Nuremberg, affirmed that Enrique zuazua is the “best global mathematician in the field of applied mathematics”.
The award ceremony will take place in the auditorium of the headquarters of Deutsche Telekom, under the chairmanship of the federal Minister of Education and Research and the president of the Alexander Von Humbolt Foundation in Berlin, Germany.
