Visiting Professor

UAM, Autonomous University of Madrid

Differential Equations, Asymptotic Analysis, Machine Learning, Numerical Analysis

He obtained his doctorate at the UAM with the thesis "Análisis asintótico y homogeneización de ecuaciones en derivadas parciales" under the direction of Enrique Zuazua in 2003, and also from the University of Chile with the thesis "Aplicaciones de las ondas de Bloch en homogeneización" under the direction of Carlos Conca in the same year. His postdoctoral stage began with a contract at the École Normale Supérieure (2002) and a Juan de la Cierva contract at CSIC (2004-2006).

Since 2006, he has been an Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics at the UAM.
Additionally, he has been a member of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences since its creation in 2007.
