Internship
My background in aeronautics and astronautics deeply influenced my main mathematical interests: differential equations, numerical analysis and control theory. More recently, much of my focus has been placed on probability theory and the mathematical interpretation of reinforcement learning methods.

Santiago Babio earned a BSc in Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University of Madrid. After that, he proceeded to obtain an MSc degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he completed his MSc thesis under the supervision of Prof. Enrique Zuazua (FAU, University of Deusto and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid).

His MSc thesis covered control theory topics (Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman formalism) and a mathematical analysis of reinforment learning techniques.
