Computational Mathematics Research Group
The Computational Mathematics Research Group works on developing innovative research lines in mathematics and artificial intelligence, tackling both fundamental theoretical challenges and real-world applications. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the group seeks to integrate mathematical modeling, computational techniques, and AI methodologies to advance knowledge and provide solutions across various domains.
The team develops his research agenda in Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence, addressing both fundamental problems and practical applications from an interdisciplinary perspective. We aim to make significant contributions in both theoretical areas and their application to biomedical, electronic, and industrial engineering, leveraging the environment of the University of Deusto and our strong ties to the Basque business sector.
We have a solid track record of participation and leadership in university-industry collaboration projects at both regional and European levels. We promote teamwork by fostering synergy between experienced researchers and new members who bring complementary perspectives.
We are also committed to training new researchers through the supervision of doctoral theses and the organization of seminars and scientific meetings.
