On November 6th (18:00H) our Head Enrique Zuazua will be giving the workshop “Hire me, I’m a mathematician” at the “XX Semana de la Ciencia” (20th. Week of Science) organized by UAM – Department of Mathematics.

In this activity, Enrique Zuazua will explain how mathematical knowledge is applied to all fields of our life; so much so Mathematics training is one of the most demanded in the labor market. This effect is amplified by the rise of Artificial Intelligence, a discipline whose mathematical foundations and challenges will be briefly described. The conference will be informative and will be aimed at a wide audience, avoiding technicalities.
