Abstract:
This is an exercise course on Matlab Control System Toolbox. Using a simple mechanical control example such as an inverted pendulum, we will see how to design optimal stabilizing control and simulate closed loop systems. To derive a control model using mechanics, we also use Symbolic Math Toolbox.
