This Friday November 6th our Head Enrique Zuazua will be giving the workshop “Hire me, I’m a Mathematician“ at the “XX Semana de la Ciencia” (20th Science Week) organized by the Department of Mathematics – UAM, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
He will explain how mathematical knowledge is applied to all fields of our life; so much so Mathematics training is one of the most demanded in the labor market. This effect is amplified by the rise of Artificial Intelligence, a discipline whose mathematical foundations and challenges will be briefly described. The conference will be informative and will be aimed at a wide audience, avoiding technicalities.
